Context is a project looking to democratize access and management of information.
There is so much information online that we care about, but it is scattered all around. There are so many online services and providers that produce all kinds of information, but also as many chances to fragment our attention and ability to synthesize it. Because each source has its own storage system that we have to deal with every time. Context is aiming to create a standing point where all this scattered information is in sight.
What your info is to you?
Online and digital information matters in certain ways from the very first moment we get it. But usually we just use it and let it go, or we keep it somewhere. Why don’t we give context to it? Context it’s how we understand concepts, circumstances and people, why don’t we give some to the information we care?
How we will
do it?
By creating an open-source protocol based on tags that homogenize the source of information. Tagging is the perfect hybridization between humans and computers regarding organizing information. It is the simplest way to give information meaning and purpose and brings it up when needed. Because we don’t think in folders, we go through situations and topics.

We believe that people aren’t only users anymore. Users are meant to use things and we don’t only use information. People live information and need it in many different ways and we should be able to give ourselves the chance for it. Give your information its own time and place.
